ICSE Class 10 History & Civics Exam Pattern

The ICSE Class 10 History & Civics (H.C.G. Paper 1) examination consists of an 80-mark written theory paper of two hours' duration and a 20-mark Internal Assessment. The written paper is divided into Part I and Part II. Part I is compulsory and assesses students' knowledge of both History and Civics through objective and short-answer questions, while Part II consists of descriptive questions from Civics and History based on the prescribed CISCE syllabus.
